It makes no difference whether it is OO or not. Badly written code is hard to maintain. Period. In fact, I would go further, badly written OO code is harder to maintain than badly written procedural code, as you must fight the architecture, not just the code. OO is not the silver bullet that people often make it out to be, just adding it to PHP will not magically create 'good' programs.
Might be, think of well written OO-code. Divided into (more or less) independent classes with unique functionality. Usually (probably I´m wrong on this) it´s easier to grab one component of a multi-component environment than grabbing one functionality from a mature procedural app. Probably I´ve just encountered bad programmers writing non-OO and better programmers writing OO, hmm... -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
