That's a nice statement, except it's completely irrelevant; None of the things mentioned in the recent discussion comes even close to affecting the development time of applications at a rate remotely similar to 2x. Kristian seems to want to see PHP become the next EJB, or COM at worse. PHP is not component ware, and component ware isn't it's main design goal, even though it's quite possible to create 'components' using it today. Zeev At 18:34 18-07-00, waldschrott wrote:

marketing and management and development understanding tells: Better suffering 2x decrease (and *possibly* investing a small amount of money) than suffering a 2x+++ *increase* on development time (and *definitely* investing a great amount of money and loosing valuable time(=loosing further great amounts of money)) rewriting stuff from scratch or assimilating hairy code. regards --
