Well, first of all Zeev already added parent:: so you can stop ranting :)
Second, frankly speaking you are the first person telling me about
"subclass code reuse". Usually you reuse code by making a new subclass to
existing superclass, not but making a new superclass to existing
subclass. But PHP now gives you enough rope...
