I am sorry but I don't understand your problem. What solution do you prefer or what change to the RFC do you propose?
I think Alan is just ranting :) We obviously should not make things needlessly hard for editor developers, but if there is even a slight reason to improve something, the problems of editor developers are not of our concern. They will find solutions. Like I said they can allow people to hook in some code/config to set their __autoload() implementation. Also alot of editors facilitate the idea of library directories or grouping of related files into project's to figure out what auto completion hints they should be giving. regards, Lukas
