Zeev reverted that patch because finding the right error message
to extend was a dirty hack (which it definetly was, but doing better
was not possible without crossing the php-zend code barriere)
and wanted to implement it in the zend part instead ...
great idea! I would like to see sophisticated error messages for non-recoverable/fatal errors, even with nicer layout and navigation and the like, I am not kidding! (ok. maybe navigation is to much)
"Warning: Wrong parameter count for sizeof() in d:/development/web/_te.php on line 4"
that does not give me much
but this does:
Level: 2, Warning
Type: Wrong parameter count
Function: sizeof(array array)
File: d:/development/web/_te.php
Line: line 4
Manual: ref.array -> function.sizeof
of course we can preserve the old error codes, to activate with a php.ini setting or so
I am sure this would require serious work, including protolike information etc. so its just for the archives as an idea :)
but this levenshtein think is nice too
