We have an NT/Coldfusion server. We also have linux/apache/php server at my campus. And I don't know what the heck is going on with that machine, but we need to restart the CFM so many times that we set up a cron to restart it every 20 minutes. It's been more than a year since we migrated to php. At some point, I just didn't care anymore about that NT server. What I'm doing now is to convert all the CFM application left to php, so I don't have to deal with CFM anymore. See.. I'm a converted programmers (from CFM to PHP) :).

2) Coldfusion - more stable than PHP3/4 I wonder what you mean here - this makes everyone in my company laugh - especially my employers who completely enjoy my no longer reporting to them that IIS/CF 'couldn't be controlled in their present state' or found and killed by tlist/kill and required the server they were running on, to be rebooted to function for the next few hours before needing the same again. -- cut-- -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
