I know what you are talking about, it is pretty much how my team works,
What I was talking about is that I try to have as more PHP programmers as
possible since we design WebSites, Other kind of Programmers are being hired
by our parent teams, and then outsourced to us whenever we need them.
All I ment is that PHP is the best for Web Development Business.

I agree with Rasthmus here - I'm one of those college kids with "PHP
knowledge",
although writing scripts for a media metrix top 500 site probably doesn't
qualify as "light knowledge" ;O)
We have a C programmer, a DB guru, and me in the middle - the PHP guru (I
like
to think of myself that way ;o) and we all bring something to the table when
it
comes to programming. Seth (the db guy) yells at me for my
not-as-perfect-as-his
SQL, Jer (the C guy) give teaches me about bitmasks (not covered in my CIS
programming classes ;o) and other *NIX C tricks that work in PHP, I sit in
the
middle and input what I can where I can as far as PHP goes.
It's a good balance we have.

PS to all those hardcoding CFM by hand - I'm sorry I apologize that you have
to
code it in any way :O)
