I think this thread has had a positive impact : )
+1 For a more open competitive repository
+1 For feedback, ratings and comments
+1 For intermediate doc formats
All of these things can improve PEAR. These things give the public
more control.
Perhaps if all the docs, the FAQs too could have comments, or be set
up like Wikis.. in such a fashion that user posted comments or wikis
can be posted and evaluated intermediatly and approved/disapproved
accordingly.
Can't wait to see the new PEAR web.
